Olivia Peschke – Mezzosopran
Die Mezzosopranistin Olivia Peschke erhielt ihre Ausbildung zunächst an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Trossingen bei Prof. Alexandra Coku, Lisa Wedekind und Melanie Diener, wo sie 2022 ihr Bachelorstudium (Gesang Podium und Lehrbefähigung) sowie ein Studium der Gesangsmethodik (B.A.) erfolgreich abschloss. Anschließend setzte sie ihre künstlerische Ausbildung im Masterstudiengang Oper an der Universität der Künste Berlin in der Klasse von Prof. Albert Pesendorfer fort und erwarb im Februar 2025 den Abschluss Master of Arts.
Wesentliche künstlerische Impulse erhielt sie durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Vera Nemirova, Marco Štorman und Isabel Hindersin sowie im Rahmen von Meisterkursen, unter anderem bei Caitlin Hulcup und Christiane Iven.
Ihr Repertoire umfasst zentrale Partien des lyrischen Mezzosopranfachs, darunter Hänsel in Engelbert Humperdincks Hänsel und Gretel, die Titelpartie in Benjamin Brittens The Rape of Lucretia sowie Clarice in Sergej Prokofjews Die Liebe zu den drei Orangen. 2022 debütierte sie beim Isny Opernfestival als Clarice. Im Juli 2024 war sie in der Titelpartie von The Rape of Lucretia an der UdK Berlin zu erleben.
Als Hänsel debütierte sie 2024 mit der Wanderoper Brandenburg; die Partie sang sie bereits im Frühjahr 2025 erneut und wird sie im Juni, Oktober und Dezember 2026 wieder aufnehmen. Auch im Konzertbereich ist sie regelmäßig tätig, unter anderem als Altsolistin in Gioachino Rossinis Petite Messe solennelle sowie in Johann Sebastian Bachs Weihnachtsoratorium (Kantaten I & III) mit der Lautten Compagney Berlin.
Darüber hinaus war sie 2024 Stipendiatin der 5. Internationalen Opernwerkstatt Waiblingen unter der künstlerischen Betreuung von Melanie Diener und Thomas Hampson.
Olivia Peschke ist freischaffend in Berlin und Brandenburg tätig. Im August 2025 gründete sie das Trio Alea gemeinsam mit der Sopranistin Ayşe Yakut Somer und dem Pianisten Ivan Moisieiev.
The mezzo-soprano Olivia Peschke received her initial training at the State University of Music Trossingen, studying with Prof. Alexandra Coku, Lisa Wedekind, and Melanie Diener. In 2022, she successfully completed both her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. She then continued her artistic training in the Master’s program in Opera at the Berlin University of the Arts, studying in the class of Prof. Albert Pesendorfer, and graduated with a Master of Arts in February 2025.
She received significant artistic inspiration through collaborations with Vera Nemirova, Marco Štorman, and Isabel Hindersin, as well as through masterclasses, among others with Caitlin Hulcup and Christiane Iven.
Her repertoire includes key roles of the lyric mezzo-soprano repertoire, such as Hänsel in Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, the title role in Benjamin Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia, and Clarice in Sergei Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges. In 2022, she made her debut at the Isny Opera Festival as Clarice. In July 2024, she performed the title role in The Rape of Lucretia at the Berlin University of the Arts.
She made her debut as Hänsel in 2024 with the Wanderoper Brandenburg; she reprised the role in spring 2025 and is scheduled to perform it again in June, October, and December 2026. She is also regularly active as a concert soloist, including appearances as alto soloist in Gioachino Rossini’s Petite Messe solennelle and in Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio (Cantatas I & III) with the Lautten Compagney Berlin.
In addition, she was a scholarship holder at the 5th International Opera Workshop Waiblingen in 2024, under the artistic direction of Melanie Diener and Thomas Hampson.
Olivia Peschke works as a freelance artist in Berlin and Brandenburg. In August 2025, she founded the Trio Alea together with soprano Ayşe Yakut Somer and pianist Ivan Moisieiev.
